Karen Keiser for Washington Senate

The citizens of the 33rd District deserve effective, responsive representation. I listen carefully to their concerns, and work hard to achieve results. I take a common sense approach to the issues they tell me are important to them and their families. Their priorities are my priorities.

That's why in Olympia I pledge to work to:
  • Continue improving public schools
  • Find solutions to our transportation problems
  • Protect and restore our environment
  • Secure health coverage and reduce exorbitant prescription drug costs
  • Eliminate unwarranted invasion of personal privacy
  • Help children, seniors and working families to thrive

You can count on me to work hard to broaden prosperity, expand opportunity and to increase government's accountability, responsiveness and effectiveness.

By making real progress on these goals, we will all share a better future.

Talking with Karen Keiser, State senator
State Sen. Karen Keiser, D-SeaTac area, has managed since 1996 to juggle an almost-full-time job as communications director for the Washington State Labor Council, a seat in the Legislature and a family. This summer, with her three children either in college or started in their careers, Keiser decided to retire from the council after 24 years there, and devote all her time to legislative and related international work.
