Board says drugstores can refuse to sell 'morning-after' pill
State Sen. Karen Keiser, D-Kent, said, ''The people of Washington should not have to go pharmacy shopping to get a prescription filled.'' She said she would introduce legislation to reverse the decision.

Talking with Karen Keiser, State senator
State Sen. Karen Keiser, D-SeaTac area, has managed since 1996 to juggle an almost-full-time job as communications director for the Washington State Labor Council, a seat in the Legislature and a family. This summer, with her three children either in college or started in their careers, Keiser decided to retire from the council after 24 years there, and devote all her time to legislative and related international work.
